Malta

I flew into Malta to meet Emma (Stu's sister) and Mark (her Boyfriend).

So we arrive at the house late at night, and I am shown my room. The room is huge, it has a double bed and its my very own room!! This sounds quite normal, but when you have been travelling around in hostels for 2 months, your own room and a double bed it complete and utter luxury!

It was quite funny to be flying into a country that you can see the entire country from start to finish when landing in the plane. It apparently takes only an hour and a half to drive from one end of Malta to the other. I think that this is why I loved this place so much, everyone knows everyone and everyone is sooooo friendly.

Marks family was amazing, you would have thought that I was each of his Aunts and Uncles daughter. I was taken out for dinner, driven around and fed, fed, and fed a bit more!! Each one of them did everything in their power to make sure that I did and had everything I needed.

So below are Photos from a town called Valetta, the thing I loved most about Malta were the narrow streets and lane ways, they are full of character.

We also went to Mdina, this place is full of history. They still have dungeons below the town that you can walk through.. Unfortunately they take their history a little to seriously, and decided to publicly execute me!!

Marks Uncle took as out in a boat and we drove around the Islands inc Gozo. The water is the bluest water I have ever seen, and its crystal clear. We went through Caves, and swam at the blue lagoon. Check out the colour of the water!!

We visited Popeyes film set

And Zurrieq which is near the blue Grotto.

We pretty much did the entire Country.. an what a beautiful place it is!!
