The desert was not at all what I expected. I was thinking lots of sand and flat, when in fact it was full of rock formations, and the colours were amazing in the rocks and sands. The safari ride was great fun, we slipped our driver (who was 14!) some cash to take us away from the group who were driving very slow, and have some fun. We were flying over sand dunes and in between rocks, sliding sideways.. great fun! I then convinced him to let me take it for a drive this was the best!
That night we went to a beduion camp in the middle of the desert to have dinner and sleep under the stars. They cooked us roast chicken in the ground from he heat of the sand. It was the most amazing chicken I have ever had. The Arabs are still the same here, always hassling you, I even had one guy offer to buy me with 10 camels!

We climbed up to the top of the hill to watch the sun go down, Sleeping under the stars was incredible. I have never seen stars like in the desert, they were so bright they would almost light up the area. A great day!
